Over the years, I've learned that jewelry design is about more than beauty-it holds meaning, connection, and impact. Each piece I create tells a story, and so does the journey of Sugar Plum Fine Jewelry. From national design competitions to state and community recognition, these milestones reflect not only my passion for craftsmanship but also the incredible support of family, clients, and mentors who inspire me every day.

• 2024 INSTORE Magazine America's Coolest Stores Honorable Mention: Highlight Sugar Plum's creative transformation of the historic Krug Mansion into a boutique jewelry experience. 

Design Competition Achievements

Stuller March Bridal Madness Wins

• 2019 Champion: Custom remount ring blending heirloom diamonds with modern asymmetry, accompanied by wedding bands symbolizing "Now, Tomorrow, Forever."
• 2020 & 2021 Runner-Up: Consistency in top design placement 
• 2023 Champion: Taj Mahal-inspired engagement ring featuring a London Blue Topaz center stone symbolizing the "Pool of Abundance," and lotus flower elements. 

Community & Business Recognition

• 2021 Placemaker of the Year by Montana Ambassadors: Contributions to community development and placemaking in Glendive through her leadership and local initiatives. 
• 2022 Cornerstone Award by Glendive Chamber of Commerce: Awarded for outstanding business leadership, community impact, and contributions to local economic growth in Glendive. 
• 2021-2022 Governor's Commendation: Acknowledgement at the state level for exceptional community involvement and contributions to Montana's economy and culture.
• 2014 Entrepreneurial Spirit: Early recognition that set the stage for later accomplishments. 

Looking back, each award has been a reminder of why I do what I do. As I celebrate these milestones, I'm also excited for what's to come. I look forward to continuing to enter in national design contests, dream up new custom creations, and keep finding ways for Sugar Plum Fine Jewelry to be a place of inspiration and connection here in Glendive and beyond. I know the best part of this journey is still ahead, and I can't wait to share it with you.
